Since 2010, Ventspils has been hosting the largest in Latvia rally of Nordic walking fans. Every August the festival gathered several hundreds of sportsmen. So, the 7th Nordic Walking Festival held in 2016 numbered 300 participants

Every year Ventspils Adventure Park organizes the opening ceremony of Ventspils summer tourism and cycling season. It is traditionally started with a bicycle street racing.

A tradition to organize a country music festival in the Adventure Park during Ventspils city festival started in 2010 in order to make the city festival program more interesting and diversified and to attract more guests to the Adventure Park.

In 2010 the Adventure Park gave a start to the first Adventure Park semi-marathon. Semi-marathons took place every year till 2015, and in 2016 its participants were offered to cover also the marathon distance (42,195 km).

International super motocross Ventbunkers Great Prize has been held in Ventspils Adventure Park six times in succession! The super motocross track in Ventspils Adventure Park is unique, because it is built every year anew!
